BGate 2008 - analyse of the event

 

For the sixth consecutive year the Bulgarian Association of Producers and Exporters of Textiles and Apparel (BAATPE) organized Bgate 2008, Balkan's clothing and textile B2B fair.The special event was held from 25th to September 27 in Inter Expo and Congress Center - Sofia . Have presented new and already established brands for clothing, textiles and accessories, machinery and a wide range of specialized equipment.

The exhibition was opened with an official ceremony on September 25 with the special presence of vice-Minister of MEE Anna Ianeva and Mrs. Valeria Jekova, Chairman of the Board of BAATPE. Welcome speech pronounced Mr. Henry Tvesten, head of the German Office for Technologic Cooperation in Bulgaria. The exhibition welcomes and Mr. Ivan Ivanov, director of the agency BULGARREKLAMA, co-organizer of Bgate 2008.Congratulations about the opening of the exhibition was sent from CEIBG.

BGate 2008 reunites more than 110 companies from Bulgaria, Turkey, Germany, Greece, Austria, Portugal and Italy. The exhibition is the only special event in our country and enjoys growing popularity among the countries of the Balkans and Europe.

Business delegations and representatives of European textile companies from Greece, Turkey, Germany, France, Canada, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, came to the event and laid the foundations of the new partnerships.

The International Conference on Textile and Clothing and The First International Forum on Female Entrepreneurship were events from the accompanying program of BGate 2008.

Once again BGate 2008 was podium of special fashion shows representing the latest collections of famous Bulgarian companies and current fashion trends for 2009. In the special catwalk, followed by a luscious cocktail, participated «MARKAM», «VIEMA», «ETERE», «Nia and Dorado», «Antoine Vill», «BORYANA», «S.V.A. Sheva» and the young designers from the New Bulgarian University. Organizers of the event were BAATPE, along with creative studio «T & Y» and fashion agency "Next ONE".
