In relation to public consultation announced on 17.12.2010 on the website of the "Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy 2007 - 2013" procedure for granting financial assistance :BG161PO003-2.1.11."Technological modernization for small and medium enterprises", BAATPE announced the view of the industry with submitted opinion ( Ent. Number 92-00-1733/22.12.2010 ). BAATPE insists all conditions of participation and evaluation criteria for the T&C industry to be revised.
BAATPE submitted an opposition, togheter with a proposal for the revision of the terms of participation and selection, at early July 2010 with the Ent. N 47-02-11-34/28.07.2010. Until now our view, even supported by the other branch organization, is not taken into account.
At January, 14 a meeting was held with Mrs. Greta Dobreva, Director “European Funds for Competitiveness”, MEET and representatives of the organizations, namely : Mrs Valeria Jekova, Chairman of the Board of BAATPE, Mrs Mariana Manolova, CEO BAATPE, Mr. Ivan Kolev, President of the Association of the leather, fur, footwear and haberdashery, and Mr. Kalin Simeonov, Chairman of the Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry.
As a result, we received an official statement from the ministry, which once again does not meet the demands of the companies from the concerned branches.
As a consequence, on January 28, 2011 on behalf of 5 companies from the three branches was filed by lawyer an official appeal to the Supreme Court.
Actually, BAATPE prepare official information about the case which will be sent to EURATEX and the European Commission.
